RE: GAS/GLOW HOW TO....
I've been interested in a RCGF 15cc gasser engine, but the weight is a little much for it's hosepower.
Would converting this engine to Gas/Glow be viable. Removing the EI would remove 8 oz including the equipment and battery. This would ge the engine down to about the right weight and a little increase in power would be icing on the cake. It looks like possibly the best of both worlds with a simpler operation and cheap fuel.
I'm looking for a gasser to replace .61 glow that weighs in at 25oz and is close to comparable in power.
Any comments appreciated.
