I believe the wing struts are functional so be sure they are well secured, you would want to lose a wing panel on the first loop. My favorite .40 size Cub is the Goldberg version. The wing is built as one piece and the struts are non functional. All of my other Cubs .40 to 1/4 scale have functional struts.
