John,
What is it that you don't like about the steering ? Mine works very well but I did bend down the steering tabs on the nose wheel strut, it tracks really good down the runway on takeoff.

I've never been a fan of cables for steering and have had better control with a direct drive system. What I experience on grass (with Dragon stock setup) is having to work the rudder control at least 1/2'' back and forth until I get up to about 1/2 of rotation speed. It's not that bad to overcome but I think this will be more noticeable on pavement. I've tried tightening up the cables a bit but that caused the retract to unlock on touchdown. What I am after is the ability to keep it as straight as a arrow on the take off roll. Not sure if I'll have the modification done before the NC gathering. BTW, are you still coming?
John
Mine tracks really well without much rudder input, I do have a lot of expo on the rudder for take off and it switches to low rate as soon as the wheels are up (mix). I'm trying to finish another project and if I get it done I'll be going to the NC event. If I don't make it I'd like to drive down to you one weekend this summer for some flying.
