None of the colors they use are direct matches to the correct RLM colors. They're close, but it will be obvious if you have to touch up large sections.
That is not accurate. Color matching is just that...they scan the item and create a custom blend to match the color of the said scanned item. Ive done it on previous ESM planes including the ESM ME-109 for the underwing color...ie RLM 76. The color match was spot on.
They will also do up to 3 color match attempts if for some reason the 1st and 2nd dont come out just right.
Also...you are NOT obligated to buy it if it doesnt match.
They will give you a dried proof on a white swatch to verify against your item that it is correct.
Like i said..ive done this for ESM planes(ME-109, B-25, and the ME-110), did it on kyosho Spitfire(had to do 2 color matches that time to get the color right), as well as a CMP plane.
