I have the DBU in my HL IR KV 1. I got my DBU from Phil at RCtankwars.com I highly recommend him for your needs. He is a great guy and fantastic vendor. As for the KV 1 conversion with the DBU, it was fantastic and very simple to do. The conversion was made simpler because I used the red LED in the gun barrel for the flash. It works OK but I will convert it to a strobe very soon for added realism. If fights very well for a stock HL and asside from being too slow (it will need better motors) and too litle gun depression. it is a very good fighter. I has 7 or so days of heavy fighting and still no trouble at all. The KV 1 has over 10 kills now and my daughter used it all weekend in Danville in April. The IR version is better suited to TBD/DBU battles than airsoft version IMHO. Bob, thecommandernj
