Hello Zippi The KMP L-4 I have is not solartex covered. It is clear film which has been painted. Granted at first glance I mistook it for fabric, mostly because the add said it was fabric covered. I have found a few things wrong with the plane which I contacted Andrew Kondor about. He got back to me right away, and thanked me for the info. But as for the matter of the covering. I haven't heard a thing. It has only been two days, so I'll give it some time. A friend of mine also has one and as soon as he gets back from vacation that one will be checked. I know these 2 L-4s are first run. Not a excuse to me. I like to think the best of people and maybe the folks at CMPro pulled a fast one on Andrew.
