For some reason the tail feather servos on the Elan seem to be sensitive to the peak voltage right after coming off charge. Mine does the same thing but settles down to a steady state after a short while. I know you have a lot of previous flights on your bird but how about your charger? Is it the same one you have always used? Do the rudder servos do the same thing? Are all your servos digital?
