I am refurbishing my old .35 PAW R/C A/C TBR

I measured it's throat / spigot diameter, it's 5/16's (near enough to 8mm) ...

It wears the varijet carb with a choke area of about 6mm, but I would love to test it with a twin needle full fuel metering carb. I love PAW's but the crudeness of the carbs leaves me cold.

Any suggestions?
