I may be mistaken, but i recall reading somewhere that some OS carb will fit a PAW 15 or a 19. Can anyone please confirm whether that is true? If yes, which OS carb would that be?

Just measured the dia of the PAW 19 carb 0.276 inchs my TT GP 10 0.331 ( the TT and OS may be the same diameter??) thats .005 difference there is enough meat on the TT to
take off .0055 inchs so it will fit. maybe some one can measure the diameter of the OS 10 and see where we are at, either is a great upgrade for the PAW
I have done this before my PAW 40 has an MVVS Carb
the asp 12 carb .353 thus 0.059 diff and thinner base not enough metal to turn left to turn down the TT carb has enough
the Enya CX11 is 0.357 and not enough thickness to take off 0.0077 martin

Enya 09 carb fits in the PAW 09 for instance, just take what you have, buying a new carb from OS sounds like an expensive deal. If the carb for a Magnum/ASP .12 fits, it is a much better carb with twin needle.

KITEFLYER.. if nothing fits a tt10 carb is I am sure much less bucks than OS and it can be adapted by reducing the OD as I stated, the ASP12 does not have enougth thickness
to do this martin

Dave it is a TBR 40PAW not a sixty, throttle and idle perfect no bogs, burbs, etc could not be better (MVVS) carb drop in fit full bore out maybe 75% open on throttle martin

I am refurbishing my old .35 PAW R/C A/C TBR
I measured it's throat / spigot diameter, it's 5/16's (near enough to 8mm) ...
It wears the varijet carb with a choke area of about 6mm, but I would love to test it with a twin needle full fuel metering carb. I love PAW's but the crudeness of the carbs leaves me cold.
Any suggestions?

Wow, I didn't think of the Varijet carb as being crude. I don't have much time on my PAW .40 yet, but the carb seems very sophisticated, nothing at all like the other PAW carbs. What's wrong with it?
I expect to run some tests on my PAW .40 soon. I have a VK Nieuport that's been waiting a long time for this engine.

PAW 29 and PAW have very simple R/C carbs. Given the right fuel, like Technics D1000 for running in and D2000 for general use, the carbs throttle well and hold settings even though they seem very simplistic compared with a Glow carb. I also have a very old PAW19 which I converted to R/C with PAWs own carb in 1980. I also have just bought a PAW 55 R/C BR which is a honey of an engine, jiust run it in. My PAW29 is awaiting a 35 liner and piston so I can put it in 60-65 " span sports R/C planes.
I find Irvine and Modern OS carbs on glows a little more precise but am well content to stay with PAW carbs.

I would still like to have an adjustable airbleed. On my PAW 09 MkII the low end is too lean with the stock carb. An Enya 09 carb is basically the same construction but you do get the adjustable airbleed for the low end.
