I use two large loops of twine, fishing line etc... tie over the rafters in the garage or shed. One loop goes over the prop and around the prop shaft and the other over the otail wheel assembly (if tail dragger) if it's tri cycle then I'll place a T pin at the center of the rear of the fuselage and hang to the plane upside down. Not rocket science, but thus far it has been close enough. I've seen some folks use screws in the wing tip and other folks use the sticky weight on the wings tip that need it.
