Northstar with YS45
I built a northstar almost 20 years ago and it's about 99% complete.
I covered it with silk and painted it, but over the years the covering is starting to ripple (on the solid surfaces - elevator, hz stab, rudder, etc.).
I'm thinking about re-covering it and if I go that route, I would like to make some modifications to it.
Some of the mods I was thinking about were putting servos in the pod and maybe relocating the fuel tank to the CG (in the body).
My engine is a YS 45 with the pressurized system. Would this be enough to push the fuel up to the engine?
I also thought about putting in a perry pump, but don't want to over do it if the pressure system was sufficient.
Has anybody used a YS 45 on this plane and relocated the tank?
Thanks
Jeff
