8, what's required to change over these small glow engines to gas. I have never done it or seen it done. I have seen a few of the diesel conversions that work very well.
Check out the newest from Magnum. The XLS52, gas engine. Not 52cc but, .52 ci!!!!! Should be available later this summer. Price $199.

I saw this while covering Toledo last month. Very cool.Onlya couple of downsidesicould to it is that it's got an electronic ignition that you have to find a place to mount, and while it will swing a bigger prop than it's 40-55 glow counterparts you're going to have a hard time with larger propellers on a 40-ish size plane. But the "cool factor"of giving up glow on a 40 size plane just makes it something that IHAVEto try!!!!!
