So after setting the motor timing per the Syssa information, the 28 degrees BTDC is too advanced. The motor would fire, but kind of roll along and then quit. I moved the timing back to about 8-10 BTDC and she fired right up and idled smoothly. I need to adjust the carb and continue playing with the timing, but it looks promising!

Anyone else out there use the Syssa CDI ignitions on their motors (single or twin)?
