Default Kangaroo Question

Hooter,

No, that wasn't a Kangaroo...Actually it was a scratch-built mini BobCat clone that the guy designed for use with a pusher prop. He had an OS 65 ducted fan engine on it with a pusher prop. It did not fly due to the zero positive incidence ground stance that it had. (The plane would not rotate) I gave him a few pointers to help him get it in the air and on ground handling. This guy built all of his own molds and completely "scratch built" it from the ground up. The BobCat was his inspiration for his model but it definately was NOT a knock-off. It had the BobCat design but with his own styling thrown in. I, too, would have liked to see it fly!!! How did you like the jet action we had there??? As we proved, you don't need a long strip to fly jets. That 400X40 asphalt strip was adequate!!!

Back to the Roo...You can order a complete composite/prepainted Roo from Don Kanak at Planes Plus. I have a Rookie coming from him that I expect any day. As others have said, you can put a four stroke on the Roo. The Roo is much larger than the "Mini BobCat" that the guy had at the fly-in. The Roo is similar in size to the HotSpots that Ed, Dewitt, and I had there.

Check out the Roo at: www.planesplus.com

I would call Don and find out the latest pricing.
