I think the next big thing happening with servos is the high voltage capability. There are some of those already out in the market. You can use a 2 cell lipo battery(7.2 volts rather than 6 volt limit) for the Rx without having to use a voltage regulator. Now that will crank up the torque and speed outputs. Don't know if they come in analog or digital.
