I got my Hyper 7 pbs used, and have bashed the thing pretty hard on the track. It has held together well. I completely disassembled it after last race and found no broken parts. I am, however, replacing brakes, bearings and fluids. This is my first buggy, so I haven't driven any other buggys and can't compare to others, (other than to say that it can stay with all the others on the track) but this thing does handle much better than the revo I used to have. I spent lots of money on that revo, and it handled like crap compared to the buggy. I also broke parts every race with the revo, no broken parts yet with the buggy.
Hopes this helps some.
1/8th scale buggies IMO probably have the best handling you can get in a RC

I got one of those and that sucker is pretty sweet. Honestly I almost bought the hyper 7 (read extremely good reviews on both) but the motor the jammin comes with was the deciding factor over the TQ black. Also talked to people that owned the jammin and said they tried to break it and couldn't

I never heard any bad things about the TQ black either
btw you will want a better servo for steering the stocks on 1/8th RTR's are kinda crummy, and don't seem to last long. I popped a Hitec 645mg in my jammin and the thing works perfectly.
