I was under the impression the Li-Ions were less likely to exploded and catch fire than Lipo's. They may be but they are not immune and I after this morning, I'm glad I took them out of my jet to charge them.
I was charging 2 2600mah Fromeco packs and a 5200 ecu pack with my Fromeco Li ion Cube on my front porch. I heard a huge crash , what I thought was a tree that had fallen on the house , and ran to the front door. I found one of the receiver packs had come from together and destroyed the other by proximity. Cheap to replace and a couple small fires to put out, so no disaster.I'm just so glad they werent in the nose of my flash
