Default RE: CT-114 TUTOR ALMOST DONE!

Dave Searles..........like minds ....!! I just completed a total rebuild and repaint of my Tutor after a crash in a crosswind i forgot to not use the flaps in a crosswind and the plane landed safely and on the roll out it lifted the port wing and flipped over on it's back , destroying the canopy and upper nose section where the doors are.. that was 18 months ago , i left it hanging in the garage roof for all that time till i could find the time to do the job... eventually i decided to strip the plane completely , repaint it the same scheme, and refit all brand new equipment , with a P 160 for power instead of the Peggy.. new servos and new radio gear all new air system etc etc same airframe..... Cost effective, due to the recession, it's just about finished , probably a couple of pounds heavier but I save a couple of pounds by swapping the peggy for the 160 so we will see.....Oh, and i never did take the agency ,the factory said that they preferred to sell direct... good luck with your refit....MK
