G'day Steve,

A mate down here was using S9650 servos in his electric Cyclone for a number of years. He had them on the ailerons and only one on the elevators using DEPS. He has since switched to the BLS 651. He says the BLS servos have next to zero slop and 7Kg of torque.

It's surprising what you can get away with on an electric. Forget it for glow as the vibration will kill it.... Having said that, I have seen people using the JR equivalent of the S9650 on a YS 1.70 powered model... May have had metal gears though... Not sure I would risk that with a YS.

What did your E-Valiant weight come in at and with what batteries?
