In the above link, is what I'm looking for. Can somebody tell me what axle and 4-link he's using, and how can I get the power to it? I want a 2-wheel drive, 4-link setup. Seeing his video, I can see that it will take what I want to throw at it.
That car use the rear axle of a HPI wheely king(I should know; I own one), which should work fine for your application. Wheely king axles are very strong and if you wanted to make it even stronger, there are upgrade steel gears available for them. The links that you use vary in length depending on your chassis. Shouldn't be terribly hard to put together the suspension setup. To power it you'll need to figure out the distance between the transmission and axle and find a truck that has similar length universal shafts.
