Do you think mine is the same.
I have an identical problem, but my motor is only 22 flights and three practice starts since brand new.
The motor ran perfect until flight 19, then had 2 dead sticks on the trot. The final flight was very gingerly!! carried out with very careful use of throttle and it kept running.
If you slam the stick wide open it just about stays going with the high accel setting shown, but makes that strange noise as the revs slowly rise.
