Default RE: JetCat P-80 outer shell dent

Thanks Matt and Sean.

I didn't see the turbine temperature when running at idle but i had the feeling that the rear of the fuse of my F-16 was a little hotter than normal. (Just I am not sure)

But as you and Matt said, air flow will be affected and maybe will affect the rear bearing life.

So as you said Sean, I have seen those videos of turbine tear down and I can take the can out and fix the dent but lets wait what Bob Wilcox has to say.

Matt, how can I get Bob? Is his mail the same mail at JetCat web page?

Or you have a direct contac to him?

Are you going to forward him the pictures or should I do it?

Again, thanks for your advices.

Well, I dont want to send this turbine to Jet Cat as long as I can do the fix in a safe manner and under JetCat guidance.

It is very expensive in money and time to send a turbine from overseas to JetCat. (Almost $ 200 for shipping plus man hours plus ship back, etc)<br type="_moz" />
