Default RE: Who thinks Habus are over rated and boring?

I like the habu also for what most others say - you can take it out, slap a battery in it, and try all sorts of crazy stuff. I like practicing low inverted passes with mine. Heck, much more practical doing that then with an expensive turbine jet.

Then again, I like edfs. I have seen some jet guys thumb their nose at them, but I think they have their place. It always easier to learn flying an edf and moving to a larger airframe IMO. All my small EDFs happen to fly just like their larger counterparts (particularly military models). I figure getting some real stick time on a cheaper edf is a good way to learn the basic flight characteristics before tackling a large expensive version.

Anyway, I am debating putting retracts in my habu but I like the stock weight. The static gear stinks but then again it is rock solid on those bad landings.

Does anyone else's habu bounce 10 ft in the air unless you grease the landing?
