I've seen PA's Katana on their website, and read about it, but I had/have the hots for the extra 260. I think it's cool looking airplane, so I was primarily looking for one of those. I did get some more flights in on my 260 since I wrote this up, and it still really impresses me each flight. I spent some time checking out the stall characteristics on the last flight, and it's rather manageable for an aerobatic plane. generally, the stalls are gentle and straight forward. My 260 doesn't seem to want to drop a wing during a stall unless you coax it with the some rudder. I like that. Another thing I still have to get used to is how quiet it is. I remember geared motors from the past being loud and gravelly sounding. This thing is whisper quiet. when it's 2 mistakes high and heading away from you, you can't hear anything at all. One mod I did make recently was to add some large white stripes to the bottom covering to improve visual recognition. I have a tough time with the orientation of this plane on cloudy days (which every day has been since i got it). Overall I am still seriously in love with this plane.
