As full range RX goes, I use the AR 6200 and AR 7000, I've seen too many problems with the AR500. I have only one short range receiver, 6100 and it has nor given any problems. I made a 2200 mah park for my TX and easily get 9+ hours of on time. For my .40 and smaller I use 4 cell 2200 mah, bigger than that I use 5 cell 2200 mah. 1/4 scale and larger planes, I use either a 5 cell 3200 mah or 3700 mah depending upon the plane. When going to a 5 cell pack you need to get a decent charger that can charge the pack.
