If you can wait till the DX8 is available, having the telemetry will be a nice feature. If you are buying an ARF plane kit, keep in mind you'll have to spend a bit of time putting the plane together so it isn't critical to have the radio on the same day as you get the kit. Well, that depends on how long it takes you to put together your ARF, it always takes me a fair bit longer than the manufacturers claim. But then I'm a bit fussy with my builds.
