Default RE: need help on custom body

Order her a 1950's Mercury body, I believe HPI or Parma make one. Then mask it off and use Pactra, Tamiya or Spazstix paint meant for Lexan/polycarbonate bodies. As mentioned, use Felt for the ears then either pop rivet or use small wood screws to attach them, and if the real one has a spring for a tail, then go down to ace hardware and get a spring, they've got a whole section of springs. Bend it and just duplicate the real one and pop a small hole into the body, thread it in and as mentioned, shoe goo that area very well. For the Tongue, use excess Lexan from the body, I think using one of the wheel wells should have plenty of area to be used as a tongue. Just be sure to mask it off before you spray it one of the other colors accidentally. Personally, I do all of my masking with Liquid Mask, it makes it very easy. You just have to make sure you use at least 4 coats and when cutting it for the graphics, be sure to use a very light touch or you'll cut into the lexan. I hope that helps ya a bit!
