im sur eit dried out by now, but next time

dont let the water beads dry up in there. open it asap and dry it out with air/cleaner/etc because they leave deposits and stuff behind. like when you let wtaer dry on your real cars paint.
the metal used inside the engine doesnt liek water at all, and like dagass said open it up and see what it looks like. if it dont like smooth you might be in for a rebuild or new engine.
