so here is what i did.
i took a stock beat-up body and cleaned the outside real good.
then i sprayed it with bulldog adhesion promoter
then i used krylon white spray paint.
i made the ears and tonge out of felt, each with a fuzzy stick inside to give it some shape(i just hot glued the edges)
the ears and tunge and tail are all held on with zip ties. the tail is made up of many fuzzy sticks.
the black spots are cut-up mail box stickers! much easier than masking and painting.
and lastly i bought a $2 dog collar and used zip ties to attach it.
since i started with a rough body, the results are far from perfect. but my kid will love it.
not bad for just
$5 paint
$1.50 felt
$3 fuzzy sticks
$3 mail box number stickers
$2 dog collar
under $15.
im sure it wont last very long. the paint will scratch off, and at some point im sure i will have to re-attach the felt parts. but it will make the emaxx more fun for my girl, and thats worth the few bucks.
