Yes I like the sound of the 4 stroke much more than the 2 strokes.
Lots of people in the local club have them and have good luck with them.
All I need now is the motor and the fuel an fuel line.
I even have the break in/test stand built for it.
Started out with an electric Slow Stick and got bored really quick with that so I dumped the idea of electric and went with the 4 stroke. Besides, I started with U Control in the 1950s as a kid and gas motors are what I like, don't ask me why, getting old I guess.
I think electric is great for smaller planes but later I want to get into bigger units and just like our cars on the roads today batteries are not what they need to be just yet for larger applications.
I know it can be done, but at great expense and weight.
And I already had one Lipo swell really bad on me for some unknown reason. Man did that happen in a hurry and did it get hot!

My assumption is that when the wind picked up and my SS came down that battery took a hard hit. Not much on a SS to protect it, that's for sure.
