Default Servo Chatter help

Can someone help me with a noisy servo issue?
Wanting better range (and just generally never leaving well enough alone, and wanting to add ailerons next), I've replaced my HZ Super Cub receiver with a 2.4GHz receiver to use with my Spektrum DX6i.
Everything seems to be working fine, but the servo's, or one of them at least seems to be fluttering.
It seems like it might improve when I put my fingers on the stick, but I'm not certsure of that.

I am using :
stock HZ 11.1V 1300mAh LiPo
stock 480 motor
electrifly C-12 Micro ESC
Spectrum AR6110 receiver
E-flite S75 sub-micro servo's

Am I using a wrong component?
How do the voltages work?
Does the receiver or ESC adjust the voltage from the battery to the receiver, andultimately the servos?

One strange thing is that the servos didn't make noise when sitting on the counter, when I pre-wired and tested the components.
I mounted them to a styrene plate, side by side. Is there such a thing as interference between closely (side by side, touching) mounted servos?

Thanks for any assistance.
