I built mine with fixed gear on recomendation from the guys at Salient Designs, it seems that weight is very important on that size plane. They also said there might be a problem with balance using a non-piped .45, so you might want to look very carefully at using the Saito. It's really designed for the YS, and if you use something else you'll have to move the tank up to the front compartment and that will cause some balance problems, too.
