Hi guys, I'm wanting to better myself as a pilot but i'm not looking to compete..(yet) lol I was looking at the Sportsman maneuvers but before I start practicing them I have a question.

Using the Split S as an example, On the pic how it's showing the roll, does that mean the roll needs to be completed before the entry of the loop? I just want to make sure i'm practicing these properly. What direction does the roll need to be?

Thanks
Roll before the 1/2 loop. A very brief hesitation is typically allowed....must be very brief.

As opposed to the Immelman turn which has the roll after the 1/2 loop. In immelman turns, both standard and reverse, inside or outside, the roll happens immediately following the 1/2 loop with NO hesitation.
