Default RE: nitro or brushless.

nitro. <div>
</div><div>I've had one BL truck, one nitro car, one nitro truck, and one BL car. </div><div>
</div><div>I can honestly say, for trucks, nitro hands down, but cars, I'd have to go with BL. Its great to be able to work on your car indoors, test it indoors, and even drive it around a bit. Try that with a nitro, prayers be with you. </div><div>Another thing is nitro is actually pretty hard to break. You would have to do ALOT of wrong to actually break a nitro car or truck. With BL, all it takes is plugging in the battery backwards, and your $300 dollar motor/esc is gone. (yea, i accidently swapped the wires when i soldered my deans). But nitro, you can alway take apart the engine, swap in a piece worth a few bucks and your up and running. </div><div>
</div><div>Yet maintainability, I'd have to go with brushless. Its clean, its easy, and for all the people who whine about charging batteries, hop up on hobbycity and grab a few 4s-6s for 30-40 bucks. Each one is worth about a gallon of nitro, and pays for itself in about a week.  </div><div>
</div><div>Finally, the question about speed. I don't care if my BL truck can zoom down the street going 60, which it does. I'm much more satisfied with the scream of a 40 mph truck at high rpms, smoke coming out, and turning every head. Its much more satisfying, and it feels like it going much quicker. BL? my onroad runs over 80, all I'm concentrated on is trying to keep it on the road, not crashing, controlling it, and listening to a silent whiz.</div><div>
</div><div>no fun.</div>
