Take your time I would.  Purchase something RTR like a Traxxas or HPI staple and I would suggest if you're interested in nitro start there and then after about a year check out electric  I did it the other way around and other that I like the smell of nitro burning have I not gone straight electric because they're easier, less hassle, cleaner, quieter and all around more fun!  And these aren't your RadioShack electric RC cars!  Get a kit though when you have some time and take your time when you are looking for one there's nothing better to strengthen your skills than putting your rig together.<div>Hope this helps,</div><div>jbot.out();</div>
