Yep...this is primarily a airplane kind of hang-out, but, anything goes and all questions are welcome when it comes to fuel related things...

Did you have a look in the HPI forum? In case ya didn't know, there is a forum just for HPI products and a lot of Savage related info is in there.

I used to do quite a bit of repair work for a LHS...worked on lots of Savages ( as well as T-Maxx, LST's, etc. etc. ) but never did the mid mount tank mod. to one...sounds interesting.

Edit: I see that you already know about the Monster Truck and HPI sections...
