Even after I set my last gasser up with everything way back from my RX I was still getting RFI. This sure wasn't my first gasser so I knew my set up was OK and kept trying to isolate all my radio gear with no luck. I ended up pulling my PPM RX and went to one of my PCM RXs and the problem went away. For the most part people using 2.4 are getting away with things the old timers couldn't, not all the time but most of the time. In the gas engine forum there are a lot of threads showing how to set up a gasser to remove the RFI but it's just what Ken said, keeping everything about a foot away from the engine and ignition. With PPM no mater what you do you can get hit with RFI.
