I have used hitec and Futaba without problems. I have been known to break all the set up rules too and gotten away with it, until the first time I didn't. Last combo I had problems with it was the same engine and RX I had used before. The first set up I had a throttle servo and choke servo right up next to the ignition and engine without a glitch. same gear and it wouldn't work with the correct set up?? I try not to over think things so I went to a PCM to fix it. I tried a new Hitec and Futaba PPM without luck. The PCM I pulled out of one of my other gassers, that plane just happened to have a G 62 with a mag and before I moved the throttle servo back 18 inches I was having a problem with that too. Sometimes RFI happens, sometimes not?? Doesn't hurt to try different things and brand switching is a very easy thing to try. I will be switching over to 2.4 as money comes along but not for the glitching but it may be another reason for it?
