The turn fin should help a little trim tabs too. With a submerged drive at high speed and the shallow vee hull it's going to be a hand full.
Since you got the bug for boats you may want to consider the new SV 27R great boat right out of the box just add a Lipo shield and lipos
and you have a boat that will go 40 + with a little work 50 I own two of the earlier ones that have been modified and love them. Check out this link
