Default RE: Electric Setup for QM15

Duane,
You are being far too kind. (wait what does that emotacon mean )

What, this site doesn't allow linking to other points of interest? Is there some reason for this? Like some web BOT monster. I thought this site was dedicated to the exchange of ideas.[sm=confused.gif] At first read it looks like that link format is rather bothersome in the day of fast information exchange.

Gotta say I liked that ship! Can't say I like the idea of having to use wood/film ships. Did I read the thread too fast? I recall that after the mold was made the speed to replace a races was actually much faster after amortizing the time to make the tooling, about the tenth pull from the mold. Now fast forward 30 years, and I too love the nice builds of the wood laser cut kit. Maybe I'm just an old luddite. But I think the old dead fishes would still be fast, light builds and more curvy. Gotta love curves!

I still have some of those old dead fished that we could best describe as "factory seconds" unsellable. I have noticed that the weave in the layup is showing more than I remember, when we first pulled these out of the molds. Does the epoxy resin keep shrinking forever, well until I make a smoking hole in the ground?

I still remember that Rough River wall of fire! [X(]

All the best,

Konrad
