Thanks for your reply. Yeh, I thought of the CG issue as well but I figured that moving the main gear aft of the CG would probably cancel out the added weight of the new nose gear. As for mounting the nose gear, I figure that I'd mount the steering blocks to the front of the firewall and then add spacers (and longer screws) to the motor mount so the motor could straddle them. (I.e. move the motor forward.) But, like I mentioned earlier, I'm hoping that someone's already tried this and can let me know if it worked or not.
