Update for anyone that may care.
I received my KV1 today. Bill was very considerate to answer all my stupid questions and we were able to come to a happy ending.
I haven't run the tank yet (Why are all the batts in my other Tx's dead?) but as soon as my batts are charged I'll run it in the dark if I have to.
I'm elated yet terrified I may have another RC addiction- Cars, trucks, helis and now tanks. Maybe I'll sell my other toys and compete with PantherG for "He who dies with the most toys."
