Tony as I was not doing a exact measurement of degrees. I never placed a degree wheel on that mag engine. I did have a mark on the flywheel near the stationay coil and I could see 3/8-+ advance on the MB290 Mac engine in the photo. I have since placed the engine back in the leaf blower. I have beat the crap out of that thing & it still runs great. Top RPM in that blower hurts the ears. Amazingly it will Idle down real good yet too! I use Penzoil Air cooled oil in it at 32-1 ratio. Super tough blower for $49 bucks!
