I personally think Tower Hobbies Easy Pay is a fantastic idea. I have used it twice now. Since I use my debit/visa bank card, I dont have to worry about paying any CC fees or interest. It allows me to grab some things I normally couldn't afford right away. And when I combine this with my free shipping and the very nice 20% off coupon codes I get products at great prices. By far and away the cheapest I have seen for the products they carry.

   Im just curious how Tower protects themselves by doing this? They say they "reserve the right" to do a credit check or demand payment in full(if you miss or skip a payment), but Im not sure how without a SS # or other personal info. 

   My only question is why are some products "Easy Pay" eligible, while others aren't? It sure isn't based off of price.

  Regardless, its a great way for them to generate business, and a great way for customers to get something they may not have all the cash for upfront. Wish there were more companies like Tower. Great prices, have always had top notch customer service, and I am 100% into supporting a company that is OWNED by all the employees directly. Never have to deal with someone who really doesn't care getting paid $7.25 an hour. This is the type of business model people should be supporting. Everybody who works for that company makes a good wage through salary and profit sharing. Wish there were more companies like that in the US.
