Hi Everybody,
I need to get some stabs cut for my IMAC plane because I have found some problems with the ones that came on the plane. The problem is I don't know what airfoil they are. Is there a way I can figure this out with absolute certainty? Any help on this one will be GREATLY appreciated.

Can't do that, these are already on the airplane and I can't replace them until I have the new parts. I need to figure out what the airfoil of that stab is some way. [

Correct me if I am wrong. This , I would think, would get you very close.
The airfoil isfully symetrical. Measure the chord at the root, measure the thickest point at the root. Figure the percentage of thickness to chord. Do the same thing at the tip chord. Most likely it is a NACA airfoil.
Example: 10" chord, 1" inch thick that is 10% so most likely a NACA0010 airfoil.

Correct, the airfoil is fully symetrical. The plane is a RadioCraft 330 LX. They longer produce this aircraft, so I can no longer get parts for it. I will do as you suggest and take a stab at it. I'm thinking it's a NACA too. It doesn't have that SD look to it. I'm going out there right now to measure it. I just hope I get the right one. This airplane is very well trimmed, but I found a problem with one of the stabs and am gonna have to replace them to get them back to previous condition.
