I am building a Lanzo Record Breaker from 1939 plans. It has a span of about 8 feet and a chord of about 14 inches with an under-cambered airfoil. The plan calls for a 3/8 X 1 inch trailing edge. I would like to use a 3/8 X 1 1/2 inch trailing edge due to the availability of preshaped stock and to add strength to the wing for R/C flying.
Will the slight change in the trailing edge effect the flight quality/character of the plane?
Thanks, Cliff

It would be fairly simple to make a 3/8 x 1 trailing edge out of a 3/8 x 1 1/2 piece of trailing edge stock. That is what I would do.
