It'll certainly knife edge... or would it be more accurate to say rim edge.... 
Seeing something like that makes me want to drag out the sketch I did for the X winged "Which Way?" I did some time back....

I flew it today - it is a friend's model -I made the extended gear for it . it feels very ordinary but needs more tail group authority.
It did get me thinking tho as the goal here is to have a twin screw setup --
So - ah will whack out a flat foam electric twin -with my own thoughts for lots of side area--- where it really counts -in a full sized airframe .
These little foam models are incredibly good for prototyping concepts -you can do the whole job in a day and get really meaningful results
The hooker here -is to be fully aerobatic, unlimited performance , with the torque rolls (?) flat spins/ tumbles / flat turns etc., as done with single prop setups .
Mine will have two motors - turning same direction--
