Default Thrust angle ?

Good Morning,

I am building my first from scratch design. Nothing to compliacted a basic balsa profile Kantana is the design. Just a personal knock off really.
I haveand still do build with foam and thrust becomes more of an issue when the design is light.
I did a search and found nothing regarding thrust angle here.

Is there a formula available that helps or nails down dialing in the correct thrust angle.
Anyone experieced with advise?

I am not new to building ARF's or kits. I know some basics od design but I am no expert RC plane builder...yet.

Just looking for a good start point for the motor thrust line.
I will get it after experimantation and spacers but is there a good formula based on a planes paramaters.
I have missed this right off in every prior attempt.

Thanks
Michael

Default RE: Thrust angle ?

Set everything at zero.. thrust, wing and tail, if it's to be a 3D airplane.
