Default Balancing Point

On the p51 60 Mustang the specs say the Center Balancing Point is 4 3/4 in.from the leading edge.Is this at the fusalage
or the wing tip.Is there a rule of thumb or a formula for balansing an aircraft.I am using a magnum xl 90 4/s inverted.I did the measurments
as they said...and that baby is really nose heavy.Do I balance with a full tank of gas or what.

Thanky Much.

No fuel in tank. Unless specified else wise the standard CG location would be measured near the fuse.

And if the wheels go up and back, then balance with the wheels up as well. Scale models fly better with the balance point closer to 20% MAC than 30%.
