It's a bit on small side for that power.
Should be OK though.
The full-fuselage Ultimate I've shown is about that size.
Keep the weight below 5 pounds, try for 4-1/2.

I also think this is a little small. Unless you can build it very light so the wing loading is low.
But I have to ask. All the drawings I see of the Pitts show the wings being the same span so why is the top wing shorter in span than the lower wing? Or is this a special version?
Also, just to help your english for the future, in your post "length" should be "span" when talking about wings.

This Pitts has only 580 sq inches. Is it mean that it's small?
It doesn't mean that I don't believe in you.But I want to know about this plan.Because I think to buy it.
And I designed my Pitts by using this wing area but I did it a little bigger. If I made any mistake. What should I do for the best?

Just for reference, I just built a design of my own OS 25FX powered, 560 sq in. Top wing 41 in., lower wing 36 in., 7 in. chord, 3lbs 3ozs. Probably around 46 in. top span would be more appropriate. As said above keep it light. As the wings are joined together and short span, for strength, the wings can be built of lighter structure. 25 OS is more than enough power for this plane.

I'm a computer illiterate. Maybe a spelling illiterate too. I'll see if I can get a buddy to show me how to do it.

I think youv'e reversed the the top and bottom span values, the top on a pitts is bigger
That engine will fly it, but won't really fly it. For more pitts like preformance go with a the new OS 50 , YS 63 4 stroker, YS 45 , or OS 70 4-stk.
If your set on the OS 46 then go real light with construstion , also move the components around for balance rather than adding weight. - Brian

This is my first biplane. It is a sports scale model about Pitt's Special from Marutuka's (?)drawings. The color scheme was taken from many different pictures. Pictures were taken before first flight so there aren't holes in the cowling. I has wing span around 110cm and weights 1700g. Motor is 4ccm ASP which worked very well except that it lacked power for this model. It is quite boring to drive horizontally with a stunt plane...
Now I have bought OS 46 LA for this. It is now waiting in my club to be installed to this. I believe it will give enough power. Hopefully the structures will stand the stress...
